Employees of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation say considering issuance of fuel as an essential service, fuel will be issued for bowsers at the Kolonnawa storage terminal from this morning.
A large number of bowsers have arrived at the Kolonnawa distribution terminal this morning to refuel while the tanker train transporting fuel to distant areas is in operation today despite the island wide trade union action.
Petroleum workers and bowser drivers say the distribution of fuel is done as usual without taking part in any trade union action.
